Joe Biden, the most likely Democrat challenger to encounter President Trump in 2020, took to Twitter late Thursday to criticize the White House’s response to the coronavirus outbreak.
“President Obama and I left a playbook for President Trump on how to struggle pandemics. He flat-out ignored it. And we’re all shelling out the price every working day,” Biden tweeted.
The tweet was discovered by Richard Grenell, Trump’s former acting Director of Nationwide Intelligence, who responded, “You understood how to cease a virus that started in China and did not yell up from the basement?”
Record figures of verified coronavirus infections and deaths emerged all over again in states in the South and West, with hospitals stretched to the brink and fears around the world that the pandemic’s resurgence is only obtaining begun.
